Fady A. Rizk
Fady A. Rizk is a Senior Managing Director for Norfolk Markets, LLC, where he is responsible to build the firm's Global Securities businesses internationally. Prior to joining Norfolk, Mr. Rizk was head of International Sales for Weeden & Company LP's Fixed Income and U.S. Equities Divisions. Before merging with Weeden, he was a Founding Partner of Peregrine Capital. He was formerly the Chairman of the Board of Green Holdings Corporation, a company he formed to commercially address ongoing global environmental challenges. Prior to forming Green Holdings, Mr. Rizk was a partner at SkyBridge Capital where he was responsible for International Business Development. SkyBridge is a $330-million hedge fund incubation platform that has a strategic relationship with the private investment company of Michael S. Dell. Before joining SkyBridge, he was the President and Portfolio Manager at Falkner Holdings, Inc., a $240-million long/short hedge fund, which he managed from its inception in February 2000 through December 2004. Mr. Rizk's career includes positions with S.G. Cowen, a division of Société Générale Group, as Managing Director in the international institutional sales division where he was responsible for providing research sales coverage (U.S. equities and convertibles) to some of the largest long-only and hedge fund organizations in the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East; senior level positions at NatWest Securities where he oversaw the management and growth of the international equities sales desk in London; Wyser-Pratte and Company, with responsibility for the international risk arbitrage portfolio; and Prudential Bache Securities, where his last assignment was managing a $150-million international risk arbitrage fund under the tutelage of Guy Wyser-Pratte. Prior to Prudential Bache, he participated in the management training program at the Bowery Savings Bank. Mr. Rizk holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Syracuse University. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic, with conversational ability in Italian.
