George Martin

George A. Martin is a Senior Advisor at Norfolk Markets, LLC with particular responsibility for matters related to performance attribution and evaluation, portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment and risk management.  He is broadly active in traditional and new forms of alternative assets, providing analytical and other advisory services.  He is actively involved in evaluation of client needs.

Mr. Martin combines his commercial activities with a research program encompassing all forms of alternative investments. He is an Associate Director for the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets (CISDM) at the University of Massachusetts; a former member of the Advisory Board of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) and a member of its Real Assets Curriculum Sub-Committee; and a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Alternative Investments – each organization of which he has been involved in since its inception.
